Day 1: Arrival in Kanha National Park
Morning:
- Arrival in Jabalpur/Nagpur: Arrive at Jabalpur or Nagpur Airport/Railway Station and meet your tour representative.
- Transfer to Kanha: Drive to Kanha National Park (approximately 4-5 hours’ drive from Jabalpur or Nagpur).
Afternoon:
- Check-In: Arrive at your wildlife resort and check in.
- Lunch: Enjoy a hearty lunch at the resort.
- Leisure Time: Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring the resort or relaxing.
Evening:
- Nature Walk: Take a guided nature walk around the resort to get acquainted with the surroundings and spot some local wildlife and birds.
Overnight: Wildlife Resort in Kanha.
Day 2: Morning and Evening Safari in Kanha National Park
Early Morning:
- Jeep Safari: Set out on an early morning jeep safari into the Kanha National Park. The best time to spot tigers and other wildlife such as leopards, wild dogs, and deer.
- Explore: Drive through the dense sal and bamboo forests, meadows, and streams while enjoying the diverse flora and fauna.
Late Morning:
- Return to Resort: Return to the resort for breakfast and relax.
Afternoon:
- Lunch: Have lunch at the resort and prepare for the afternoon safari.
Evening:
- Evening Safari: Embark on a second jeep safari to explore different zones of the park. Watch for the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger, the elusive leopard, and the hard ground Barasingha, also known as the jewel of Kanha.
- Return to Resort: After the safari, return to the resort and unwind.
- Campfire: Enjoy a cozy evening around the campfire, sharing stories of the day’s sightings.
Overnight: Wildlife Resort in Kanha.
Day 3: Departure from Kanha National Park
Morning:
- Optional Morning Safari: For early risers, there’s an option to go on a morning safari (optional and subject to availability).
- Breakfast: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the resort.
- Check-Out: Pack your bags and check out from the resort.
- Transfer: Drive back to Jabalpur/Nagpur for your onward journey.
